FISH FARM
At Harvey's Fish Farm there are many items to interest both adults and children. Inside the fish farm there are large concrete tanks full of rainbow trout. When you feed them fish pellets they literally swarm to that end of the tank, all trying to peer out the small window.

Above a family throw fish pellets into the tank, and above right is the resultant surge of fish behind the small window.
A guided tour of the Fish Farm can be arranged explaining from the spawning process, to the egg hatching, the fingerlings and up to saleable fish.
You may even sit back in a theatrette and enjoy an informative video on fish.

Above are two huge Yellowbellies swimming in an aquarium. In the same room there are hundreds of other fish in many aquariums. Above right are some huge carp swimming in the outside tanks at the fish farm.

Above are some more carp from the outside tank, the largest fish in this photo weighing about 20 pounds or about 9 kilos. The photo on the right is of two curious eels in the outside tank watching what I was doing.
Also at the fish farm are aquariums with turtles, yabbies and other different water inhabitants, along with posters of native and introduced species of aquatic life.
Our fish out is stocked, ready for you to try your luck at fishing. We supply the bait. You catch it, we will clean it and even cook it for you.
You may also buy fish here. We sell them ready for you to take home and cook, or we sell fingerlings so that you may stock your dam or local river.
