TRAIN RIDES

Two friendly little trains run around the perimeter of the 5 acres of the picturesque farm. They both depart from Redfin Flat Station, passing the goods sheds, the carriage depot, and over a cattle grid, past the dam and onto the pasture.

Here the various animals tend to follow the train, from the ducks, geese, roosters and emus, to the sheep and the horse. Obviously someone has been feeding the animals from the train and they are asking for more.

The train crosses over two bridges, rattles past the mini golf track, past the children's playground, and eventually past the front doors of the Fish Farm and slowly stops again at Redfin Flat Station.

Above is little Rail Car. He is a cross between a car and a train. Here Rail Car waits at Redfin Flat Station for some passengers looking for a train ride. The station has many historical, original station items. Up the track is a collection of antique railway carts or carriages, used in mines and on small train lines. Ask the driver about these.

Above we see Rail Car rattling down the straight under the shade of the overhanging trees, giving some enthralled children a novel train ride.

Above is the little engine called Jumbuck, pulling two replica carriages, picking up passengers at Redfin Flat Station. When ready, the guard waves the green flag, blows his whistle and Jumbuck slowly pulls out on his run.

Above you can see Jumbuck with passengers on board passing the mini golf course, and coming out of the tunnel of trees. These two trains provide entertainment for all ages.
