As our economy changes, and the price of houses skyrockets past what normal people could hope to afford, or for people who are looking at downsizing and making optimum use of their assets, transportable homes are becoming extremely popular.

Their popularity is enhanced due to the fact that a one bedroom home of about 10 squares can be purchased or built for as little as $40,000.

Many of the larger homes cost between this and $150,000.

Add to this the fact that placing the home on a caravan park estate will cost as little as $3000 per annum for rent of the land.

The home or house remains the property of the owner, and can be relocated or sold when the owner so wishes.

The home or house can remain on the Estate for as many years as the owners and the Estate manager have agreed and contracted upon, ie., 5 years, 10 years 25 years.

All owners are protected by the legal "Agreement to Rent" contract.

This contract is administered by the Department of Fair Trading.

Kismet offers the home owner the following.

    Land - 18 metres by 18 metres block

    Fully serviced - electricity, water, sewerage, telephone. ( Bottled Gas )

    Rental - $65.00 per week.

        Rental covers rates, water, garbage and mail.

You could live in a house similar to this one at Kismet Riverside Lodge for only $65.00 per week.

Part of the Residential Estate.

    Kismet Riverside Lodge can arrange to have your relocatable home built on the block by local builders.

                    Rental - $65.00 per week.
