Lake Anderson Caravan Park is centrally located in Chiltern, only a few minutes walk to the shopping centre. The Caravan Park is set in parkland next to Lake Anderson, which was once the Alliance Gold Mine, back in the late 1800's. With the subsidence of the mines due to water, Chiltern decided to make a lake, which has now become a safe haven for waterbirds. The natural features of the park makes for a very relaxing holiday. The Caravan Park has an extensive range of accommodation, from its magnificent cabins with their uninterupted views over the lake, to the shady powered and unpowered sites. The Lake Anderson Caravan Park is conveniently located only 1 km from the Hume Highway, and about half way between Albury/Wodonga and Wangaratta. The Park is also only about 15 minutes from Beechworth, Yackandandah, Rutherglen and Corowa.
The Caravan Park boasts fantastic views from its timber cabins. The cabin above has this view as photographed on the left. The Caravan Park has an all weather barbeque pavilion, a recreation room, and abundant clean facilities and laundry.
