The Miner's Cottage is decorated with antiques and antique furniture of the period. Above is a beautiful queen sized brass bed.

Above you can see the large open fire place with its magnificently carved surrounds. The tools for the fire are hanging at each end of the fireplace, and there is always an abundant supply of wood. In the corner between two leadlight windows is an antique writing desk and an antique rocking chair.

On the other side of the fireplace is an antique cupboard on which sits the modern television, and above it the reverse cycle airconditioner.

The galley kitchen is crammed full of yesteryear memorabilia,

with the exceptionally good cast iron wood burning stove of the 1900's.

The bathroom has a double spa bath.

Colby Cottages are located at Wooragee, on the main Wodonga to Beechworth road, next to the alpaca farm.

They are located approximately half way between the historic towns of Yackandandah and Beechworth.

Colby Cottages are 1.5 kms from the Wooragee School, 5.5 kms from the Yackandandah turnoff, and 13 kms from the Beechworth Post Office.

The tariff is     1 night        $170.00

                       2 nights       $150.00 per night

                       3 nights       $150.00 for fist two nights

                                           with 50% discount on third night

                                            ( long weekends exempt )

                       7 nights       $150.00 per night for the first 6 nights

                                            with the seventh night Free.

Includes breakfast starter pack, including provisions for cooked breakfast, and complimentary chocolates, port and marshmallows, especially for the open fire.
