In between the three towns of Benalla, Mansfield and Bonnie Doon, located on the Maroonda Highway, is the Country Hotel, Motel and Restaurant known as the Bridge Inn, Maindample.
People travelling along the Highway pass through Maindample at approximately 100 kilometres an hour.
Since the invention of the motor car, nobody even noticed the pub was there.
But this has all changed!

It was raining when I passed, but the Chalk was sticking to the Blackboard like glue.

But to top this off, try and get into the Pub on a Thursday or Friday Night.
The Place is chock a block, for its Seafood Night. The Pub's Speciality.
Where does he get the seafood? Well, I can tell you its not from the creek running past the pub. The Publican owns a plane (which is probably parked up some tree out the back), and he flies regularly to Flinders Island in Bass Strait to purchase Lobsters, Oysters, Fish of the Day and others, and then flies back home.
